Dr. D’Ascenzo graduated in Turin in the group led by Imad Sheiban and is currently working as interventional cardiologist and researcher in the Cardiology of the University of Turin, Città della Salute e della Scienza led by Prof. De Ferrari. He is an active part of the Heart Team selecting and performing the over 120 TAVI procedure per year. He accumulated a large clinical experience in the treatment of complex interventional cases from acute coronary syndromes to structural heart disease. His main research interests range from the acute coronary syndromes to TAVI regarding both risk stratification (also with artifical intelligence) and interventional procedures. He has published over 300 papers with a h-index of 49 (Scopus 28/06/2022)
