Professor Igor Fomin

He graduated from the Medical University in Nizhny Novgorod (Russia) in 1984. He defended his thesis on the prevention of cardiovascular complications in arterial hypertension in various populations in 2000. In 2009, he received an award from the Russian government for the development of measures to prevent cardiovascular mortality among patients with heart failure in various populations. Now heads the Department of Hospital Therapy (Privolzhsky Research Medical University).
