Abdallah Al-Mohammad is a Professor of Cardiology at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Sheffield, Sheffield, UK. His main interests are: Heart failure, cardiovascular imaging, valve disease and infective endocarditis. He was a member of the imaging group within the heart failure association (HFA) between 2018 and 2022. He has worked on national clinical guidelines with NICE between 2008 and 2025. He was a member of the health technology appraisal (HTA) committee A at NICE between 2021 and 2023. He lectures at the University of Sheffield. He had previously held positions as regional advisor to the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and a member of Council. He continues to be a regional specialty advisor at the Royal College of Physicians of London. He loves reading history. He speaks English and Arabic.
