Nicole Karam is Professor in interventional cardiology, Medical Chair of the Medico-Surgical Heart Valve Unit at Georges Pompidou European Hospital (Paris, France), and researcher at the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM). Her main research fields are 1) Percutaneous Treatment of valvular heart diseases, and 2) Sudden Cardiac Death, and more specifically, the relation between coronary artery disease and Sudden Cardiac Death.
