Robert Skalik, MD, PhD, is a consultant cardiologist, exercise physiologist, adjunct professor at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Medicine, physician-cardiologist in "PZU Health" Medical Centre in Wrocław, Poland. He is a former adjunct professor of Wrocław Medical University (Department of Physiology) and Director of Department of Cardiac Rehabilitation "Vratislavia Medica" Hospital in Wrocław. He specializes in general cardiology, cardiovascular imaging , cardiac rehabilitation and sports cardiology. He covered internship in Department of Cardiology, Free University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He was also a specialist in internal medicine and consultant cardiologist in Department of Cardiac Surgery and Cardiology, Wrocław Medical University. Formerly, lecturer in Postgraduate School of Cardiology, University of Perugia, Italy and a research projects evaluator for European Commission. He is Elected Fellow of Royal Society of Medicine (London,UK).
