Dr Robert Skalik, MD, PhD is a consultant cardiologist, exercise physiologist and former Director of Department of Cardiac Rehabilitation in Saint John Paul II Specialist Hospital in Wrocław,Poland. He is academic teacher and researcher in Medical University of Wrocław (Department of Physiology),Poland. He is also consulting cardiologist for Specialist Hospital "Ventriculus"(Leszno) and PZU Health Centre,Wroclaw. He specializes in general cardiology, cardiovascular imaging , cardiac rehabilitation and sports cardiology. He covered internship in Department of Cardiology, Free University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He was also a specialist in internal medicine and consultant cardiologist in Department of Cardiac Surgery and Cardiology, Medical University of Wroclaw, Poland. Formerly, lecturer in Postgraduate School of Cardiology, University of Perugia, Italy and a research projects evaluator for European Commission. He is Elected Fellow of Royal Society of Medicine (London,UK).
