Sergio Raposeiras-Roubín (Santiago de Compostela, November 26, 1983) holds a Bachelor's and Doctorate degree in Medicine and is a specialist in Cardiology. He currently works at Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital in Vigo. He is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Santiago de Compostela and an External Researcher at the Spanish National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC). He currently serves as the President-Elect of Clinical Cardiology at the Spanish Society of Cardiology and is Editor-in-Chief of REC:CardioClinics.
He received his clinical training at the University Clinical Hospital of Santiago de Compostela, Montefiore Hospital in New York and the Royal Brompton Hospital in London.
He has presented more than 300 communications at national and international conferences and has published over 250 indexed articles. He is actively involved in multiple clinical trials, having served as principal investigator for the DapaTAVI trial (published as first author in NEJM).
