Dr Fabrizio Ricci, MD, PhD is currently Assistant Professor in Cardiology at "G.d'Annunzio" University of Chieti-Pescara, Italy. He has special interest in multi-modality cardiovascular imaging, and particularly in cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR). Fabrizio has been actively involved in CMR since 2014 and he reports over 500 cardiac adult MRI scans each year. He is level 3 certified for CMR, Italian Ambassador of the young HIT community of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), and question-writer for the EACVI CMR certification. He has ongoing international scientific collaborations with the Clinical Research Center at Lund University in Malmö, Sweden and the William Harvey Research Institute at Queen Mary University of London, UK, in diverse areas of clinical research, namely cardiovascular imaging, cardiovascular autonomic dysfunction, atrial fibrillation, and sports cardiology.
