Professor Eva Lonn

McMaster University, Hamilton (Canada)

Dr. Lonn completed her MD degree at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, clinical and research training in Toronto and further research training including a a Master of Science degree, in Hamilton. She served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society, on various major research granting committees was Ontario Governor, American College of Cardiology Board of Governors. Dr. Lonn’s main clinical areas of interest and expertise include cardiovascular prevention, heart failure and echocardiography and she is the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Prevention and Heart Failure programs at McMaster University. She mentored numerous trainees and led major research studies including large international clinical trials. She published over 300 peer reviewed manuscripts, 9 book chapters and was an invited speaker at numerous national and international meetings. She is the proud mother of 2 grown up children.
