Dr. Elie Chammas is Chief of the Heart center at Clemenceau Medical Center; (affiliated with Johns Hopkins International), Professor of Cardiology and ex head of Department at the Lebanese University. He is also past President of Lebanese Society of Cardiology. With over 30 years of experience in Cardiology, Dr Chammas is a member of many Cardiology and Echocardiography societies including French, American, Lebanese and European. He is fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and the American College of Cardiology. Dr Chammas has a special interest in research being a reviewer for many reputable journals including Lebanese Medical Journal, Heart journal and European Heart Journal and Euroecho meetings. Dr Chammas holds a Medical Doctor diploma from the University of Paris – France 1987 and Cardiology Diploma from the University of Lille- France 1991 where he was Associate Professor of Cardiology till 1993.
