Davide Stolfo is an Italian cardiologist working in the CCU
of the Cattinara Hospital in Trieste (Italy). He is part of the “Outpatient
Clinic for HF and genetic cardiomyopaties” and coordinates the activity of the
“PH Outpatient Clinic”. He is also part of the ECMO
team and member of the roundtable of his region for advanced heart failure – patients selection for
MCS – ECLS. He graduated at the University of Trieste (2008)
and completed Cardiology residency in Trieste in 2014. He also had clinical
experience as clinical and research fellow at the Royal Brompton Hospital (London, UK),
Harefield Hospital (London, UK) and Stanford University (Palo Alto, CA – USA). In 2017 he
got the title of HF specialist from the University of Zurich, the HFA-ESC. He completed his PhD at the Karolinska Institutet (Stockholm, Sweden) on June 2022. He has published/presented several articles on top peer reviewed journals as first author/coauthor and in international congresses.
