Sabiha works as a Consultant Cardiologist at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust. Her sub-specialist interests include advanced echocardiography, CMR and inherited cardiac diseases/sports cardiology. Sabiha has accreditation in CMR (EACVI) and echocardiography by the British Echocardiography Society. She completed a 3 year PhD research involving echocardiography and inherited cardiac diseases for which she has won several awards. Sabiha also embarked on a 12 month fellowship in cardiac MRI at Royal Brompton Hospital and subsequently worked as a Consultant Cardiologist in the unit. Sabiha is the Deputy Editor for the EHJ-Case Reports and the Section Editor for the EAPC sports cardiology quizzes. She has successfully published her work on LVNC in Circulation journal, ECG guidelines in athlete in the EHJ and Aortic Root dimensions in athletes in Heart journal. She recently co-authored a land-mark study on cardiac screening in adolescent athletes in NEJM.
