Thoracic surgery fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, MO (2008). -Clinical interest in surgical treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF), structural heart, coronary artery and aortic diseases. -Research focus on innovative surgical approaches to atrial fibrillation, clinical outcomes, aortic and left atrial computational modeling, multidisciplinary programs development, research mentoring of medical and PhD students. -In 2022, I contributed to the development of the first program on robotic approach to hybrid ablation of AF and an entirely advanced nurse practitioners led multidisciplinary model of AF surgical program. -Avid marathon runner (completed all 6 World Majors and currently progressing through running one in each of the 50 States). -Devoted father and husband.
