Mr Soeren Bergt

Heidelberg (Germany)

He graduated as master of science in mechanical engineering at the KIT at Karlsruhe, germany in 2023 with his fields of expertise being medical engineering and polymer engineering. During his master he studied at Chalmers Göteborg, sweden for one semester from 2021-2022 where he deepened his understanding in nanocomposite materials and human anatomy and physiology. In 2023 he started in the group AICM with Prof. Dr. Sandy Engelhardt at the university hospital Heidelberg, where he began his Phd in 2024. His main field of research is in vitro hemodynamic mitral valve- and left ventricular modeling and simulation. In his spare time he is passionate about cooking and triathlon.
