Shekoofeh Saboktakin Rizi is a physician with a background in electrical engineering. She completed her Master’s in Engineering before transitioning to medicine, starting Internal Medicine residency at the University of British Columbia in 2019 and Cardiology at the University of Manitoba in 2022. She will begin her Interventional Cardiology fellowship in 2025. Her interests include coronary and structural interventions, critical care cardiology, and health equity. Outside of medicine, she enjoys jogging and watching cooking shows. At ESC, Shekoofeh is presenting her work on symptom patterns and care-seeking behavior in acute myocardial infarction.
