Dr. Nadia Khan is Professor and Head of General Internal Medicine at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver Canada. She is a general internist and hypertension specialist at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver Canada. Dr. Khan is a clinician-scientist in health services research at the Center for Advancing Health and published >190 peer review papers. Her research area includes examining detection, management and cardiovascular outcomes of cardiovascular disease risk factors including hypertension among marginalized populations. She is co-Director of the St. Paul’s Hospital hypertension clinic, Vice President of the Canadian Hypertension Specialist Society, and is an American Hypertension Society Clinical Specialist in Hypertension. Dr. Khan is past President of Hypertension Canada (2016-2020) and past Executive council member of the International Society of Hypertension (2020-2024).
