Professor Tiantian Li

Dr. Tiantian Li is the Deputy Director of the National Institute for Environmental Health, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Her work delves into climate change, air pollution and health impacts. She has been honored with the 2024 Distinguished Young Scholar Fund from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the 2022 China Female Scientist Award from Cell Press. As a first or corresponding author, she has published over a hundred papers in Nature, The Lancet, JACC, Circulation, Nature Climate Change, The Lancet Public Health, The Lancet Planetary Health etc. Additionally, she serves as a member of the WHO/WMO Heatwave Health Early Warning Expert Group and the World Heart Federation’s Climate Change, Air Pollution, and Health Committee.
