Dr Matias Javellana Apistar Jr is a fellow of the Philippine College of Physicians with sub specification on the field of Internal Medicine. He is currently a Fellow on Training for Adult Cardiology at Heart Institute, Perpetual Succour Hospital - Cebu City, Cebu City, Philippines. He used to work as a Hospitalist at the Qualimed Iloilo City from 2018-2024 and a visiting consultant at Iloilo Mission Hospital. He was also the Head/Medical Doctor III of the Iloilo City Dialysis Center. His father is also an Adult Cardiologist based in Iloilo City with work experience of more than 40 years. Dr Apistar speaks Tagalog and English. And has a working knowledge of Fukien and Mandarin. He plays the piano and a basketball enthusiast.
