Dr. Casanegra is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She specializes in Vascular Medicine and currently serves as the Director of the Thrombosis and Anticoagulation Clinic at the Gonda Vascular Center, Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Casanegra earned her medical degree from the National University of Córdoba in Argentina, where she also completed her internal medicine residency and fellowship training in Vascular Medicine. She continued her postgraduate training in the United States, completing an Internal Medicine residency at Danbury Hospital, a Yale-affiliated program, and a Fellowship in Vascular Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. Additionally, she holds a Master’s degree in Clinical and Translational Research from the School of Public Health at the University of Oklahoma.
At Mayo Clinic, Dr. Casanegra’s clinical practice focuses on Vascular Medicine, non-invasive vascular diagnosis, and thrombosis and anticoagulation.
