Qiujing Cai is a researcher specializing in Public Health in Cardiovascular diseases. Currently, Cai holds a postdoctoral position at Fuwai Hospital, focusing on aging, CVD, and metabolic mechnisms. Her investigations delve into the interactions among vascular aging, insulin resistance, and cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. During her doctoral studies at Capital Medical University (2020), Cai investigated the links between obesity and hypertension through bioinformatics and cohort studies, focusing on genetic markers related to oxidative stress, endothelial dysfunction, and ferroptosis. She also has substantial experience studying airway inflammation in pediatric asthma.
