Dr. Keita Tashiro is a interventional cardiologist at the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Niigata University Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences in Japan. He holds certification from the Japanese Association of Cardiovascular Intervention and Therapeutics (CVIT) and has performed over 120 percutaneous coronary interventions as primary operator. Since 2024, he has been pursuing his doctoral studies focusing on coronary CT angiography-based perfusion territory analysis for PTSMA in hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy patients. His clinical expertise spans coronary interventions, structural heart disease, and device management in post-myocarditis patients. Dr. Tashiro's research interests include advanced cardiac imaging, interventional cardiology outcomes, and electrophysiology. Outside of medicine, he enjoys strength training, baseball, and has a keen interest in fashion. He also appreciates the renowned sake (Japanese rice wine) from his home regio
