Masamitsu Nakayama is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, working at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and cardiovascular medicine since 2023. His research focuses on deep learning applications for electrocardiogram (ECG) data, including reconstructing signals from images and developing interpretable models for myocardial disease detection. By integrating AI, engineering, and biology, his goal is to create clinically deployable diagnostic tools that advance precision medicine. Outside of research, he enjoys marathon running, golf, and tennis, and he is fluent in English and Japanese.
