Doctor Mayila Abudoukelimu

Mayila Abudoukelimu is a physician cardiologist with a PhD degree. Her primary specialty is acute cardiac care, and she has a 5 years’ of working experience in the area. She is currently pursuing her post-doctoral study in preventive cardiology and rehabilitation program of Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital. Mayila’s basic research area was CAD with hyperlipidemia and genetic study in Han and Uighur Chinese population during her PhD program. In 2015, she presented two relevant papers at the Oriental Congress of Cardiology and the Great Wall International Congress of cardiology. In 2014, she received a 3-month basic research training on molecular mechanism of genetic variations in the Chinese Academy of Science in Shanghai. Presently, her main clinical research area is preoperative rehabilitation in heart transplant candidates; and she has submitted her latest work to the Annals of the American Thoracic Society.
