Sianna is a staff nurse with a special interest in cardiac care, particularly cardiac surgery. Since qualifying in 2014, they have worked in cardiac surgery wards and intensive care, providing post-operative and enhanced care for patients following cardiac or thoracic procedures.
In 2020, they moved into community care in Sheffield, supporting cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. In 2023, they joined Derbyshire Community Health Services, leading on a cardiac rehab project and taking on quality improvement and project management roles. They are a qualified project manager with Agile and QI certifications.
Their key interest lies in the mental health impact of cardiac events and prolonged intensive care stays. Passionate about advocacy, they serve as co-chair of the long-term conditions and disabilities network in their local trust. Outside of work, they enjoy reading, cooking, and playing bass guitar.
