Daniel Kim joined the MGH Institute for Technology Assessment (ITA) as a postdoctoral research fellow in September 2024. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where his research focused on using modeling and analytics to inform resource allocation and policy decisions across various sectors. Currently, Daniel collaborates with Dr. Jagpreet Chhatwal on projects focused on Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH) and liver transplantation. He also works with Dr. Shaan Khurshid on atrial fibrillation screening strategies. Through these projects, Daniel applies his expertise in modeling and analytics to explore cost-effective and efficient interventions aimed at improving care for patients with acute and chronic diseases.
