Dr Mustafa Aljarshawi is an Academic Clinical Fellow (ACF) in Cardiology at Keele University, currently undertaking an integrated academic specialty training in Cardiology at the Royal Stoke University Hospital in the West Midlands, United Kingdom. He is funded by the UK’s National Institute for Health & Care Research and jointly hosted by Keele University and University Hospitals of North Midlands. His clinical research interests focus on cutting-edge big data cardiology research. He uses electronic health records from patients with cardiovascular disease in the UK and the US to enhance the diagnosis, treatment, and clinical outcomes for real-world patients. Dr Al-Jarshawi's current research examines the prognostic utility of cardiovascular risk stratification in predicting long-term survival and cardiovascular outcomes in cancer patients and survivors.
