Dr. Nika Kuridze, MD, PhD, FESC, is a cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist at the G. Chapidze Emergency Cardiology Center in Tbilisi, Georgia. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Tbilisi State Medical University and later earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Tbilisi State University, where his dissertation focused on “Assessment of the Impact of Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices on Patients’ Quality of Life.” Dr. Kuridze further enhanced his clinical expertise through advanced training at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and AZ Sint-Jan AV, Belgium. As an assistant professor at the Caucasus Medicine School, Caucasus University, Dr. Kuridze integrates clinical cardiology with academic mentorship and research. His scholarly work has been published in high-impact journals. His primary research interests encompass atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and cardiac implantable electronic devices.
