Dr. Liu is the Chief of Cardiology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Weill Cornell Medical College. She is a recognized Cardio-Oncology specialist with expertise in advanced echocardiographic imaging. Her clinical and research endeavors focus on the role of advanced imaging in diagnosing and managing cancer therapy-related cardiac dysfunction. She has led several expert consensus documents that set practice standards for the use of echocardiography in cardiotoxicity monitoring. She has served on the ACC Cardio-Oncology Leadership Council and the editorial board of JACC Cardio-Oncology. Currently, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Echocardiography.
