I earned my medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of São Paulo (USP) between 2002 and 2007. Following this, I completed residencies in Internal Medicine (2008-2009) and Endocrinology (2010-2011) at the Hospital das Clínicas, affiliated with USP. I also engaged in international exchanges at the University of Insubria in Varese, Italy, in 2004, and at Columbia University's New York Presbyterian Hospital in the USA in 2011. I hold an MBA in Hospital Administration and Health Systems from the Fundação Getulio Vargas, obtained between 2012 and 2013. As an active member of The Endocrine Society, the American Diabetes Association, the European Association for the Study of Diabetes, and the Sociedade Brasileira de Diabetes, I am currently pursuing a PhD at the Heart Institute of the Hospital das Clínicas at USP, specializing in the intersection of Diabetes and Cardiovascular Diseases.
