Associate Professor Martin Brown is a cardiologist, specialising in advanced heart failure, cardiac transplantation, pulmonary hypertension, structural Heart disease and percutaneous valve therapies, high-risk surgery patients and trainee education. A/Prof Martin Brown graduated from London University (1994) and completed specialist training in both Cardiology and General Medicine in 2007 with a Fellowship in advanced heart failure and heart transplantation. He currently works in several teaching hospitals in Sydney, Australia. He is co-founder of the Sydney Pulmonary Hypertension Specialist Group. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Macquarie University and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. He has been an investigator in multiple multiple international trials and created the Australian right heart catheter (RHC) training seminars and RHC virtual reality program. He has over 60 publications and is a guest reviewer for several international journals.
