Viktoria Strohmenger is a final-year medical student at the Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich in Germany. As part of her MD thesis, she spent three years doing research in cardiovascular genetics in the Seidman lab at the Department of Genetics of Harvard Medical School in Boston, United States, between 2021 to 2024. She is interested in the the spatial relationships of cell populations that form the cardiac conduction system and the disease mechanism of arrhythmias on a molecular level. Viktoria enjoys traveling and exploring the nature anywhere she goes.
