Tomaso Leonardo Porcheddu, aged 24, is a Medical Doctor who graduated with honors from the University of Sassari, Italy. He has a developing interest in cardiovascular research, particularly in risk stratification, genetics, and the integration of artificial intelligence in medicine. He previously worked as a research fellow in the Department of Experimental Cardiology and was an active member of the Sirio Medicine Research Network. In 2024, he presented his work in the "Advances in Science" session at the ESC Congress in London. Proficient in English, Spanish, and Italian, he also gained international academic experience through the Erasmus program at UCAM in Murcia, Spain. He is currently working in primary care in Sardinia while continuing to pursue research and scientific communication.
