Valentina Micheluzzi is a nurse researcher and adjunct professor at the University of Sassari, with a strong clinical background in cardiovascular and cardiac surgery nursing. After earning her Nursing Degree from the University of Bologna, she completed a Master's in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences and a postgraduate degree in Clinical Research. Since 2023, she has been a PhD candidate in Nursing and Public Health Sciences at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where her research focuses on the use of virtual and augmented reality, telemedicine, and digital technologies in cardiac rehabilitation and heart failure management. She contributes to nationally funded research projects in telemedicine and digital health as a co-investigator and has received three first-place awards for her research on immersive technologies in healthcare. She is the author of several peer-reviewed publications and serves as a reviewer for international journals in the field of digital health.
