Biomedical Engineering alumnus from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). His early research work allowed him to gain experience in the development of software to detect and assess pulmonary embolism from medical images. This work resulted in the 1st Prize of the SEIB-FENIN Awards 2023 for Spanish Biomedical Engineering graduates, awarded jointly by the Spanish Society of Biomedical Engineering (SEIB) and the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies (FENIN). Ivan joined the Biomedical Electronics Research Group (BERG) in 2023, aiding in the development of medical devices capable of assisting in the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of cardiovascular diseases. Since September 2024 he is officially a member of the FORESEE team, helping in the development of the Intravascular microsensor and different test setups for its validation.
