Professor Salah Al-Zaiti

Dr. Al-Zaiti brings 15 years of experience as a clinician, scientist, innovator, and entrepreneur. His broad research interests include clinical research, biomedical modeling, signal processing, biomarkers, genomics, healthcare informatics, clinical decision support, machine learning, human computer interaction, AI bias and fairness, healthcare disparities, and social determinants of health. Dr. Al-Zaiti leads an extremely productive program of research that has received $8 million in funding since 2013. He currently directs two NIH-funded multisite clinical trials to develop and deploy AI-enabled clinical decision support tools at the bedside.
