Mr Niccolo Biasi

Niccolò Biasi received his B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pisa in 2018 and his M.Sc. in Bionic Engineering, jointly awarded by the University of Pisa and the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, in 2020 (both cum laude). He obtained his Ph.D. in Information Engineering from the University of Pisa in 2024 (cum laude), with a thesis on the clinical translation of cardiac electrophysiology models. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Research Center E. Piaggio, University of Pisa. His main research interests include cardiac electrophysiology modeling, cardiac arrhythmias, numerical methods for solving monodomain and bidomain equations, and closed-loop simulation of cardiac devices. He also teaches the Bioelectric Phenomena course in the Biomedical Engineering program at the University of Pisa.
