Marine Sargsyan is currently studying Cardiology residency at Erebouni Medical Center through Yerevan State Medical University, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. She is also pursuing an online Master of Science in Preventative Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of South Wales. Marine is passionate about helping people, treating patients, and doing scientific work to improve heart health and prevent disease. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked as a Doctor's Assistant at the National Center for Infectious Diseases through a contract and as a volunteer. She also did internships at several clinics affiliated with YSMU, where she gained experience in patient care and communication. Her main interests include heart disease prevention and combining research with clinical work. Marine speaks Armenian (native), English (intermediate), Russian (intermediate), and Chinese (A2 level). She enjoys playing chess and reading medical, philosophical, and biographical fiction.
