Sara is a registered nurse since 2011 and has worked across a range of acute and community settings. Her earlier years focused on intensive care practice, but her passion for multimorbidity and cardiology led her to pursue a career in HF. She worked as a research nurse and main study coordinator for Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension clinical trials within Imperial College NHS and University portfolio. She has been a heart failure specialist nurse since 2019, dedicating her advanced practice to improving the lives of HF patients. In 2022 she was awarded distinction for her MSc studies and since then she actively publishes peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in chronic HF management. Currently she is actively working on a doctoral application to improve the care to those living with HFpEF in the community. From this application, she has gained the attention of the Imperial College Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) - multimorbidity theme where she works as a research assistant.
