Physician at the University Catheterization Laboratories and ICCU of the 1st Department of Cardiology, Medical University of Gdansk, Poland. Completed cardiology specialization at the University Hospital of Gdansk, Poland, and the University Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland (under Prof. Thomas F. Luescher, 2010–2014). Between 2014 and 2015, continued at Charité University Hospital in Berlin, Germany. Recipient of the ESC Research Grant (2011) and EAPCI Interventional Training Fellowship (2013). Honored with multiple awards, including the 2019 Polish Cardiac Society Board of Presidents’ award for excellence in clinical medicine and cardiovascular research. Past President of the Club 30 of the Polish Cardiac Society (Polish COT) and Editor-in-Chief of the Cardiology Journal (IF 2023: 3.0). Research interests include interventional cardiology, invasive imaging, device failure, and biomarkers. Author of over 300 publications, incl. articles in the New Engl J M (IF>1500, iH 36/38 WoS/Scopus)
