Doctor Gurukripa Kowlgi

Dr. Guru Kowlgi was born in New Delhi, India, and is a graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University. After completing medical school, he decided to pursue further training in the United States. He joined the internal medicine residency program at the University of Connecticut, followed by a year of chief medical residency. He matched into the cardiology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, where he spent three years in training, including chief cardiology fellowship. Subsequently, he went on to become a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellow at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, and was later recruited to stay on staff as a Mayo Clinic Scholar. He is currently competing a Master of Science program in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare.
