Doctor Rachel Skow

Dr. Rachel Skow (PhD) is a postdoctoral fellow currently working at the University of Alberta under the supervision of Dr. Mark Haykowsky investigating cardiovascular impact of breast cancer / cancer treatment in cancer survivors. Previously, she received her PhD in prenatal exercise physiology in 2021 at the University of Alberta where she investigated the impact of exercise training on cardiovascular and autonomic function in healthy pregnancy. More recently, Rachel completed a postdoctoral fellowship under the supervision of Dr. Paul Fadel at the University of Texas in Arlington where she worked with HFpEF and CKD patients. In her spare time, Rachel loves to explore with her dog Harley and is currently planning her wedding.
