Doctor Andrea Minghini

IRCCS Policlinic San Martino, Genova (Italy)

Andrea Minghini earned his MD degree from the University of Genova, where he is now a third-year resident in Cardiology. Currently working in clinical cardiology, he is keenly interested in heart failure, cardiomyopathies, and cardio-oncology. Alongside his clinical practice, he is actively involved in clinical and translational research. His research explores the molecular mechanisms of heart failure, investigating genetic, viral, and inflammatory factors, as well as drug-induced cardiac toxicity. In 2021, he completed a fellowship at the Institut Paoli-Calmettes (Université Aix-Marseille, France), which broadened his experience in translational science and innovative therapies, including gene therapy.
