I am a Ph.D. candidate in the BioMedicine Ph.D. Program at the University of Zurich, conducting my research at the Center for Translational and Experimental Cardiology (CTEC) under the mentorship of Prof. Paneni. My PhD project focuses on the molecular and epigenetic drivers of kidney dysfunction in cardiometabolic disease, particularly within the cardiorenal axis of HFpEF, using advanced multi-omic approaches to uncover cell-specific mechanisms and identify targeted therapeutic strategies. I hold a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics and an M.Sc. in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics from Democritus University of Thrace (Greece). My academic and research interests lie at the intersection of cardiovascular epigenomics, renal biology, and precision medicine, with a vision to advance mechanistic insights and innovative treatment strategies for cardiometabolic disorders.
