Doctor Eduardo Zatarain-Nicolas

Eduardo Zatarain Nicolás is a medical doctor (MD) specialised in clinical cardiology and a clinical researcher at Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón in Madrid. Dr Zatarain obtained his PhD at Complutense University (Madrid, Spain) in the field of cardiomyopathies in 2017. His research has been related to heart failure and transplant, cardiomyopathies, and is currently participating in national and international cardio-oncology research projects. Dr Zatarain is a founder and currently leading the cardio-onco-haematology (COH) program at Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón. He is a member of the Spanish Society of Cardiology since 2012 and an integrant of the Executive Committee of its COH Working Group (2023). He is also a member of the Cardio-oncology Council from ESC. He is an ICOS member, he has obtained the Board Certificate Exam of ICOS (2023) and takes an active part in its Advocacy Committee since 2023.
