Lorenzo Bianchi graduated cum laude in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Genoa, Italy, and completed his specialization in Cardiology at the same institution. He enhanced his academic background through training in advanced heart failure and heart transplantation at the Policlinico Sant’Orsola in Bologna, and in the field of cardiomyopathy at Careggi Hospital in Florence, Italy. After completing a cardiovascular research fellowship at the Cardiovascular Research Institute Maastricht (CARIM) in the Netherlands, he is currently continuing his research there, focusing on dilated cardiomyopathy.
