Noma ASSAD, PharmD, PhD Dr. Noma Assad is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the MASCOT team at Inserm UMR-942 in Paris. Her work focuses on personalized medicine and the discovery of novel biomarkers in circulatory failure. She holds a PhD in Biotherapies and Biotechnologies from Université Paris Cité, grounded in a strong background in pharmacological sciences. Her academic journey began with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, followed by a Master’s in Preclinical and Clinical Pharmacology from Université Paris-Saclay, providing her with comprehensive expertise in drug research and development. Her current research explores the role of inflammation and intercellular and interorgan communication, particularly via extracellular vesicles, in the pathophysiology of heart failure and shock states.
