Marcin Ruciński is a cardiology patient and an active leader supporting people with heart disease. Since 2005, he has lived with an implanted pacemaker and uses his experience to improve the situation of others. He is the president of the Serce na Banacha Association and a patient representative in international organizations, where he co-creates strategies to improve diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life. He was the first patient from Poland to have a real impact on the content of European guidelines for the treatment of atrial fibrillation. He specializes in arrhythmias, implantable cardiac devices, heart failure, and modern medical technologies. He is the author of scientific publications and educational articles. He is the creator of the CardioAI application, which supports patients in monitoring their health and daily life with heart disease. He is interested in artificial intelligence and health education and speaks English.
