Dr Satoko Ryuzaki is a cardiologist at Chiba University Hospital, Japan, with a special focus on cardiac electrophysiology and structural heart disease. She has been actively engaged in research and clinical practice in atrial fibrillation management, particularly in catheter ablation and left atrial appendage closure (LAAC).
Dr Ryuzaki has presented her work at major international congresses, including the Japanese Circulation Society, HRS, and ESC, and is committed to advancing minimally invasive approaches to stroke prevention. Her research interests include real-world outcomes of LAAC, device-related thrombosis, and integration of imaging modalities such as CT and TEE in procedural planning.
