Appointed as Consultant Cardiologist at Manchester University Hospitals in 2015, Fozia specialises in heart failure and cardiac devices. She is Honorary Reader in Cardiovascular Sciences at University of Manchester and NIHR specialty co-lead for Cardiovascular Research in Greater Manchester. Her research interests broadly span the themes of risk prediction models, remote monitoring in heart failure, and prevention of cardiovascular infection; with a focus on re-designing clinical pathways to improve patient outcomes.
