André Lobo, MD, is a cardiology resident with a particular interest in cardiomyopathies and heart failure, with a strong focus on cardiac imaging—both echocardiography and non-ultrasound imaging modalities. His research activity spans multimodality imaging, including cardiac CT, advanced echocardiography and integrated imaging approaches, with ongoing projects centred on aortic stenosis, myocardial fibrosis and cardiomyopathy phenotyping. He is actively involved in clinical and research work bridging imaging, structural heart disease and myocardial disease. He is fluent in English and has basic proficiency in Spanish.
