Doctor Mohamed Barghout

Dr. Mohamed Barghout is a physician trained at the University of Lübeck, Germany, with clinical experience at the Heart Center of the University of Freiburg. He completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Brown University, USA, where he built and managed large REDCap databases for structural heart research and led multiple studies using national datasets. He remains actively involved in collaborative research with Brown through remote access while pursuing his cardiology training at Inselspital, Bern University Hospital, Switzerland. His expertise includes interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, mechanical circulatory support, REDCap database development, and cardiovascular outcomes research. He has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented his work at many international cardiology conferences. Outside of medicine, Dr. Barghout enjoys swimming, hiking, and soccer. He is fluent in Arabic, German and English.
